I saw this in a recent Creating Keepsakes magazine. I am totally doing this. As my friends know, I will take the good picture. However, I am always ready to take the silly one as well. I think I will pull a bunch of those together and document my silly side!

Wouldn't know it
Let me preface this by saying that I am known in my office for spilling food down my shirt. So, I am wearing a new shirt today. This morning I am eating my oatmeal and not only do I spill some but manage to have it drop down my shirt. Hot oatmeal on the girls! Not good, not good!

Check this out!
Check out this super cool layout done by Jenn about her March of Dimes walk. I love the patterns, the strips and the dots. Way to go Jenn on completing the walk!!!

Love the circles!
Oh the pain
I needed to do it. For months now I knew Ashleigh's room needed a deep cleaning. So I ended up spending 5 1/2 hours cleaning up Ashleigh's room this weekend. She was a big help in pulling every last toy, sticker, crayon, stuffed animal and random toy out of her room. She was very cooperative about picking those toys she wanted to keep and those she wanted to let go of. We also moved her bed and rearranged to give her more room. It is amazing what a difference it made. It was a relatively painless process.
The pain came in after all the walking, bending and sweating. This morning every thing from my lower back to my toes hurts. I am pretty sure I am going to whine about it all day or at least until the alleve kicks in.
However, seeing her joy while playing in her room yesterday afternoon is worth every ache.

Portrait Pics
So I am laying in bed last night watching the lightening thinking about my upcoming retreat. I have struggled with an idea of how to make Ashleigh's school portrait pics layouts. So I have an epifany, use my quickutz circle nesting dies to cut out circles and quickutz fonts to put the words on the circle. Then a problem arises, I want to add her school and the name is long. So I keep mulling it over and come up with using quickutz fonts around the 8x10. I sketched it out (pretty bad drawer that I am) and scanned so you can see what I am talking about. Now I just have to pick the paper and fonts.
